The KEB F5 Combivert Axis Drive Series, model 09.F5.B1B-UK05, is a state-of-the-art drive system with hardware and software solutions fit for industrial automation applications. Based on an industrial-grade ARM Cortex-A9 processor and utilizing an Embedded Linux OS, this drive delivers high performance and dependability.

It has 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and 8GB eMMC for memory and storage respectively to support several processing and data management operations. This model is particularly suitable for industrial environments with high connectivity and flexibility, equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet ports for networking and a wide range of I/O interfaces: six USB, two HDMI, and four RS-232 to suit different control systems. The power supply of the unit is a stable 24V DC, and there is a PCIe x1 Gen2 expansion slot for more upgrades and expansions. The system is a passive one, which means that the device does not need fans and other active cooling solutions reducing maintenance and noise. The drive comes with several communication interfaces such as CANopen, PROFIBUS, DeviceNet, Modbus/TCP, EtherNet TCP/IP, EtherCAT, POWERLINK, and PROFINET, thus allowing the drive to be easily interfaced with other industrial networks.

The drive provides enhanced motor control functionality, which can be applied for both open and closed-loop systems with synchronous and asynchronous motors.
