The KEB F5 Combivert Axis Drive Series, model 07.F5.EDD-YM00 is a high-performance controller unit that is engineered to work in harmony with highly advanced industrial systems.

Powered by a 100-240VAC source and using only 14.5W, this model is energy-efficient and versatile. The board has two CAN interfaces with full electrical isolation making it safe and adaptable for different networks. This drive also has the most extensive list of supported communication protocols, which is based on the modular communication operator concept: EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, Modbus, EtherCAT, Powerlink, DeviceNet, CAN, Sercos, and Interbus. This versatility allows it to be easily incorporated into various industrial platforms, to address several system needs. The drive offers high-speed motor control with an output frequency range of up to 2000 Hz thus suitable for high-frequency motor applications where quick and dynamic response is required. It supports various encoder interfaces like Incremental TTL/HTL, Resolver, BiSS, EnDAT, and Hiperface to offer the right motor feedback depending on the application.

Safety is improved by the inclusion of dual-channel SIL3-rated Safe-Torque-Off (STO) inputs, which facilitate safe and quick motor stop actions without completely switching off the power required for the safe operation of the equipment and the protection of the operator. This is because the module has an IP20 protection which means it is not water resistant but is very useful in environments with little or no dust. The controller is designed for compatibility with the environment, functioning in altitudes of up to 1000 meters with some extent of de-rating at higher altitudes.
