Product Description
The 16.F4.CBG-4000 frequency inverter is an automation device produced by KEB Automation for the control of AC servo motors through the supply of the motor with an output voltage that is variable in frequency and amplitude. This inverter guarantees the synchronous running of the connected servo motor, it also provides optimum position control and protection against both overtemperature and over-voltage protection. The inverter is a three phase device that requires a mains input voltage of about 480 volts. The enclosure of this product provides protection against large foreign substances with an external diameter larger than 12 millimeters, the enclosure is also made from aluminum material which is renowned for its light weight and its ability to withstand rapid deterioration. There is an internal air blower integrated into this inverter for temperature regulation through forced ventilation.
The 16.F4.CBG-4000 frequency inverter contains 3 analog inputs. The analog inputs include the internal inputs used for optional hardware, the external multifunction input of current and voltage signals, and the external differential voltage input with high internal resistance. There are also about 8 digital inputs on this product. Four out of the digital inputs are programmable. The digital inputs are equipped with a filter which reduces their sensitively against disturbances during the operation of the product.
The 16.F4.CBG-4000 frequency converter is equipped with a ramp generator which assigns an adjustable time to a frequency change. The acceleration time and deceleration time (for positive and negative frequency changes respectively) can be set separately by operators for each direction of motor rotation. Operators can change the operating frequency with which the power modules are clocked depending on the application. The 16.F4.CBG-4000 is determined to have a total weight of 5 kilograms.
