Product Description
The 14.F4.F1E-4I30 is a new generation frequency converter built by KEB Automation as part of its attempt to improve automation control in the servo system. The converter is compatible specifically with the three-phase AC servo motor; in combination with this motor, it provides an output voltage that has a variable frequency and amplitude, allowing complete control over the operation of the three-phase AC motor. The circuit of this product features a mains rectifier, a DC link, and an inverter at the output. Apart from variable frequency voltage production, this product also carries out several other functions in the servo system. These include jogging function, automatic control adjusting, incremental encoder imitation, field orientation control and hardware current limit. The 14.F4.F1E-4I30 frequency converter is only suited for AC servo motors; any connection to other electric consumers can permanently destroy the unit and cause consequential damages to the connected product.
The 14.F4.F1E-4I30 frequency converter can generate an output nominal power of about 13 kilovolts ampere; also the maximum rated power supported by the frequency converter is determined to be about 5.5 kilowatts. Unlike conventional industrial machines, this product has a relatively strong housing that can withstand mild to moderate industrial vibrations. The nominal output current of the converter under normal operating conditions is about 12 amperes, while the nominal input current it requires for its operation is determined to be about 13.2 amperes.
The 14.F4.F1E-4I30 operates with a rated operating frequency that is about 16 kilohertz. At nominal operation, up to 240 watts of power is lost from this converter. The 14.F4.F1E-4I30 belongs to the IP20 protection class and the 3K3 climatic category according to EN 50178
