14.F4.C1G-3480 is an Combivert F4 series frequency inverter. It is designed by KEB Automation for control of industrial AC motors. The primary function of the inverter is to create three-phase AC output with desired parameters, i.e. amplitude and frequency. The frequency inverter controls connected motors by varying the parameters of the AC output. To achieve this, the unit first rectifies AC input and obtains DC, which is then converted back to AC with the desired parameters. Input voltage rating of the 14.F4.C1G-3480 inverter is 380 to 480 Volts AC. The unit supports only three-phase input at 50/60 Hertz. Output of the unit is also three-phase, and the output voltage can vary from 0 to the input voltage. The output frequency range is from 0 to 1600 Hertz. The rated power and current output is 11 kVA and 16.5 Amps respectively.

Connected motors can have power ratings equal to or less than 7.5 kilowatts. Peak short-time current of the inverter is 24.8 Amps and the OC-trip current is 29.7 Amps. Value of the nominal input AC current is 18.1 Amps. KEB has designed the 14.F4.C1G-3480 frequency inverter for 16 kilohertz switching frequency. Its power loss at nominal operating frequency is 260 Watts. Stall current of the unit is 12 Amps at 16 kilohertz. The input power line cross section should be equal to or more than 4 mm2. The maximum permitted length of the motor cable is 100 meters. The optimal operating temperature for F4 series inverters is from -10 to 45 degrees Celsius. The optimal storage temperature for F4 series inverters is from -25 to 70 degrees Celsius. Ingress protection rating of the unit is IP20.
