Product Description
12.F4.S1E-3480 is a KEB F4 series frequency inverter. It is designed for accurate speed control of three-phase industrial motors. The inverter controls industrial motors by converting incoming AC to DC and then back to AC at a variable frequency and voltage, allowing precise control of motor speed, torque, and power consumption. By adjusting the motor's input frequency and voltage, the inverter provides efficient motor operation, enhances energy savings, and offers flexibility in controlling speed and performance across various industrial applications. Any motor connected to the inverter can have a maximum power rating of 4 kilowatts. The inverter is designed for operation at 16 kilohertz switching frequency. It belongs to the 400 Volts AC class and operates at input voltages ranging from 305 to 500 Volts at 50/60 Hertz line frequency.
The nominal output power rating is 6.6 kVA. Nominal value of the output current is 9.5 Amps. The specified peak short-time current is 17.1 Amps and the OC-tripping current value is 20.9 Amps. Value of the nominal input current to the inverter is 10.5 Amps. The rated and maximum operating frequency is 16 kilohertz. The nominal power loss during operation is 180 Watts. Stall current of the unit is 9.5 Amps at 16 or 8 kilohertz. KEB has specified the maximum heat sink temperature as 73 degrees Celsius. Cross-sectional area of power cable used for the inverter is 2.5 mm2. The inverter has an IP20 rated housing designed for vertical mounting. Minimum 100 millimeters spacing should be provided on the bottom and top sides of the mounted unit. It has been tested for EMC compliance in accordance with EN 61800-3. Weight of the inverter is approximately 2 kilograms.
