12.F4.C3D-4Q20 is a frequency inverter designed for motor control applications. It is part of the F4 series from KEB Automation. It belongs to the 400 Volts class and works only with 3-phase AC input. The nominal output power rating is 6.6 kVA. Motors with power ratings of up to 4 kilowatts can be used with the inverter. The nominal output current is 9.5 Amps and the nominal input current is 10.5 Amps. The maximum short-time current for the unit is 17. 1Amps. The OC tripping current value is 20.9 Amps. Rated operating frequency of the inverter is 4 kilohertz and the maximum operating frequency is also 4 kilohertz. During normal operation, the 12.F4.C3D-4Q20 unit dissipates 115 Watts as heat. Temperature of the heat sink on the unit must not exceed 85 degrees Celsius.
If required, operators can use a mains fuse with maximum 20 Amps current rating. KEB recommends using power cables with 2.5 mm2 cross-sectional area. The minimum resistance of the braking resistor is 82 Ohms and the typical resistance is 150 Ohms. The maximum breaking current value is 10 Amps. The recommended tightening torque for the power terminal is 0.5 Nm. Output frequency of the 12.F4.C3D-4Q20 inverter is 0 to 408 hertz. For storage, KEB recommends -25 to 70 degrees Celsius temperature. For operation, KEB recommends -10 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature. The unit has an IP20 rated housing which is suitable for indoor use. Relative humidity in the operating environment should not exceed 95%. Accessories included with the unit are a filter and a braking resistor. KEB recommends provided minimum 100 millimeters distance on the top and bottom sides of the installed unit.
