The KEB 09.F4.C3D-4M00 frequency inverter provides versatile, efficient performance for industrial applications with its robust design and array of capabilities. This wall-mountable drive has a compact footprint but delivers ample 5kW of output power at 400V, making it suitable for 3-phase motors up to 25HP.

Despite its small size, the 09.F4.C3D-4M00 includes an integrated air-cooling system rather than relying solely on passive convection or external cooling. Multiple onboard fans provide forced airflow within the enclosed metal housing to prevent overheating, allowing the drive to run safely in hot environments. This also contributes to a high overall efficiency. The 400V operating voltage enables the 09.F4.C3D-4M00 to connect directly to standard 3-phase or 480V industrial power supplies. It outputs over 13A of current on each of its three phases, ample for running machinery, conveyors, pumps, and other equipment needing 5kW. The drive’s operating frequency range of 0-1600Hz supports both 50 and 60Hz applications interchangeably.

Installation is simplified with the 09.F4.C3D-4M00’s compact wall-mounted design at just 380 x 200 x 150mm and 7kg. Multiple mounting slots on the enclosure provide flexibility. Status LEDs and a 4-line parameter display give at-a-glance feedback during configuration and operation. Despite the small size, KEB included IP20 ingress protection that prevents fine debris and accidental contact with inner electronics. The drive also has built-in safeguards against issues like ground faults, voltage spikes, and component malfunction. RS232 and RS485 interfaces enable remote monitoring and control.
