The 00.F4.010-2009 is a digital operator panel built by KEB Automation to provide industrial operators with a relatively simple interface through which the operators can interact with frequency converters in real-time. This operator panel provides the user interface to monitor the current operation status of the inverter; it also contains special pressure-sensitive keys for the transmission of simple command instructions into the product. This product has a very compact housing design and only weighs about 0.07 kilograms. However, the material used to construct it is strong enough to withstand mild to moderately harsh environmental conditions. During operation, the voltage output from this operator panel is measured to be about 10 volts. Also, the analogue output resolution is about 10 bits. The permissible ambient temperature that should be maintained around this product for optimum operation is between -10 to 45 degrees Celsius.

The 00.F4.010-2009 operator panel features a RS232/RS485 serial interface, it also maintains an encoder data format of 24-bit SSI, Gray or Binary coded. During normal operation conditions, the panel and supports a maximum current load of about 1 ampere, the encoder voltage of the panel is 5 volts at X4 and X5. The installation and use of this operator panel significantly improve the operation efficiency of industrial inverters through the easy communication systems it provides.

The scan time of the 00.F4.010-2009 frequency converter has been measured to be about 2 milliseconds, also the internal resistance of the product is about 100 ohms. The electrical connection cables required by this panel for correct integration are not included in its delivery package, so customers are required to place separate orders for these cables. Operators should avoid unplugging the operator while the drive is in operation, as this might cause the sudden shutdown of the drive.
