Product Description:
14.F2.R10-4009 is a Combivert F2 series frequency inverter. It is designed for industrial use. The inverter has an input voltage rating of 380 to 460 Volts AC. It is compatible with 3-phase AC mains that operate at 50/60 Hertz frequency. The primary function of this inverter is to produce AC output at a desired amplitude and frequency point. The inverter controls connected motors by varying the amplitude and frequency of the AC output. It achieves this performing a double conversion: the first stage rectifies the input AC to achieve DC output, which is then converted back to AC with the desired operating parameters. Nominal output power of the 14.F2.R10-4009 inverter is 11 kVA. The output voltage can vary from 0 Volts to the input voltage. Rated output current of the unit is 16.5 Amps.
Operators can use the 14.F2.R10-4009 inverter with 2 or 4 pole AC step less motors with maximum power ratings of up to 7.5 kilowatts. KEB has designed the frequency inverter for vertical mounting. Operators must provide suitable spacing around the installed unit, which is necessary for smooth and unobstructed airflow. Rated output is only available when ambient conditions comply with KEB recommendations. The optimal ambient conditions for frequency inverter operation include site altitude less than 1000 meters, ambient temperature between -10 and 45 degrees Celsius, and non-condensing relative humidity that remains below 95%. The inverter carries extremely high voltages and currents, which can be dangerous and harmful for equipment and personnel if the unit is handled improperly. Therefore, only technical staff with relevant qualifications and experience should be involved in handling, installing, operating, commissioning and maintaining this industrial frequency inverter.
