Product Description
The 14.F0.R11-3429 is a frequency inverter designed by KEB Automation to provide impressive control over the operation of industrial servo motors. This static frequency inverter uses high-technology electronics; it is also equipped with an enclosure that can withstand the interference of large solid substances according to international standards. The 14.F0.R11-3429 frequency inverter is a short circuit-proof device that is designed for fixed connection. Apart from the high degree of control operation provided by this inverter, it also provides extensive protection against overload of the motor by evaluating the PTC thermistor integrated at the motor. Customers that operate this product can avoid the premature ageing or destruction of the converter by installing a disconnecting switch between the voltage supply and frequency inverter; also, the environmental temperature around the inverter during operation should be maintained between -10 to about 45 degrees Celsius.
The power and control inputs of the 14.F0.R11-3429 frequency inverter is generally protected against parasitic noise; however, improved operation reliability and increased protection against malfunction of the unit can be achieved by using a mains filter and paired twisted cables. During transportation and storage, the ambient temperature around this frequency inverter should be maintained between -25 to +70 degrees Celsius; also, maximum relative humidity is about 95 per cent without moisture condensation.
There is a fan integrated into the housing of the frequency inverter for temperature regulation via forced ventilation; during the installation of the inverter, a minimum distance of 100 millimetersmust be observed to support easy heat dissipation from the motor. The rated output power of this product during operation is about 11 kilovolts amperes; it also operates with a rated output current of about 16.5 amperes. The maximum permissible nominal power of a connected servo motor is about 7.5 kilowatts.
