Product Description
13.F0.R13-4B09 is a KEB Automation frequency inverter from the F0 product line. It operates with high voltages and currents. Therefore operators and staff must follow safety precautions while handling and operating the device. Onboard capacitors carry high voltages even after the power is disconnected. For this reason, operators must wait for 15 minutes after power shut off to allow the capacitors to discharge fully. The unit should be inspected upon delivery. If a unit found damaged, it should be reported immediately. Before commission, the unit must be checked to ensure that it is installed properly. The inverter is protected against short circuits and complies with VDE 0160. The control and power lines must be separated by at least 10 centimeters. Control cables must be shielded and the inverter must be grounded properly.
KEB recommends -10 to 45 degrees Celsius ambient temperature for optimal performance. Higher temperatures lead to output derating. The specified temperature range for storage and transportation is -25 to 70 degrees Celsius. The maximum mounting altitude for the inverter is 3000 meters above sea level. The output power reduces by 1% for every 100 meters altitude increase above this limit. Input voltage range for the 13.F0.R13-4B09 inverter is from 370 to 720 Volts DC. The output power is 8.3 kVA and the output current is 12 Amps. The output voltage ranges from 0 to 500 Volts AC. Two/four pole AC motors with up to 5 kilowatts rating can be used with the unit. Nominal heat dissipation of the unit at 4 kilohertz switching frequency is 165 Watts. The maximum current rating for a mains fuse is 20 Amps. The power cable should not have a cross-section less than 2.5 mm2.
