Product Description
13.F0.R13-3429 is a high-performance frequency inverter. It is designed and produced by KEB Automation. Frequency inverters are used to control the speed, torque, and performance of electric motors. They offer significant benefits in energy efficiency, control precision, and protection for motors and driven equipment. Frequency inverters are widely used in a variety of industries to ensure that motors operate at optimal performance levels, improving both productivity and cost-efficiency. The F0 series includes inverters from the 200 Volts and 400 Volts classes. The 13.F0.R13-3429 inverter belongs to the 400 Volts class. The inverter is designed for vertical mounting. Its heat dissipation during operation is 165 Watts. KEB recommends providing 50 millimeters spacing on each side, 100 millimeters spacing on the top and bottom, and 50 millimeters in front of the unit for air circulation.
The inverter has an inlet for cool air at the bottom. Warm air exits through an outlet at the top of the unit. The optimal ambient temperature for operation is from -10 to 45 degrees Celsius. According to the product documentation, the rated power output and output current are 8.3 kVA and 12 Amps respectively. The inverter can be used with 2/4 pole AC motors with 5 kilowatts power rating. Input voltage range for the inverter is 380 to 480 Volts at 50/60 Hertz. The inverter must be supplied with 3-phase AC input. The frequency converter performs a double-conversion: AC to DC via a rectifier and DC to AC via an inverter. The AC output at desired frequency and amplitude is fed to the connected motor. The default switching frequency for the 13.F0.R13-3429 inverter is 4 kilohertz. Overload capacity of the unit is 151 to 200% for 30 seconds.
