13.E5.T60-A071 is an RF filter. It is produced by KEB Automation. The filter is used with compatible drives to minimize RF interference and noise. Drives compatible with the filter include those from KEB Automation’s F5 series. The filter voltage rating is 480 Volts (three-phase, 60/50 Hertz). Its rated current is 12 Amps at 45 degrees Celsius. Value of the leakage current is 20 milliamps. The specified dv/dt is 500 Volts/millisecond. Housing of the filter is IP20 rated, which means it is not safe from liquid or dust ingress. The filter combines a line-side HF-filter and a motor-side dv/dt-filter in a single unit. It enables compact mechanical installation. KEB provides pre-wired lines for space-saving installation. The filter allows a sub-mounted version and a side-mounted version. The filter can be used with line lengths ranging from 30 to 100 meters.

It provides protection for motors against dangerous high-voltage rises and excessively high peak voltages. In this way, the filter protects the motor winding isolation. Personnel involved with filter installation must be familiar with relevant safety instructions. They must possess necessary skills required for assembly and installation. The surface of the unit can get very hot during use. Therefore any hot surfaces should be covered for protection, and the filter should be allowed to cool down before any work is performed on it.
