13.E4.T60-1001 is a radio frequency (RF) interference suppression filter. It is compatible with F4 series frequency inverters from KEB Automation. The primary function of the filter is to reduce or eliminate electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) generated by the drive during operation. Drives, especially those with electronic components like inverters and switching devices, can generate high-frequency noise that can affect nearby electronic equipment, communication systems, and even the drive's own performance. The RF filter helps mitigate this interference, and improves the overall performance of the system. It refers to the ability of electrical and electronic equipment to function as intended in its electromagnetic environment without causing or being affected by electromagnetic interference (EMI). The filter helps operators comply with Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) regulations, which limit the amount of electromagnetic interference that equipment can emit.
