Product Description
13.E4.T60-1001 is a radio frequency (RF) interference suppression filter. It is compatible with F4 series frequency inverters from KEB Automation. The primary function of the filter is to reduce or eliminate electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) generated by the drive during operation. Drives, especially those with electronic components like inverters and switching devices, can generate high-frequency noise that can affect nearby electronic equipment, communication systems, and even the drive's own performance. The RF filter helps mitigate this interference, and improves the overall performance of the system. It refers to the ability of electrical and electronic equipment to function as intended in its electromagnetic environment without causing or being affected by electromagnetic interference (EMI). The filter helps operators comply with Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) regulations, which limit the amount of electromagnetic interference that equipment can emit. The filter works with 3-phase lines at 480 Volts AC at 50/60 Hertz frequency. The rated current is 16 Amps at 45 degrees Celsius.
The overall operating temperature range, as specified by KEB, is from -25 to 85 degrees Celsius. Any unused 13.E4.T60-1001 filter must not be stored in an environment with aggressive or conductive gases or liquids. It should be protected from direct sunlight. During unpacking, operators must ensure that no filter components are bent. Any filter with mechanical defects should not be put to use. Operators should use lifting eyebolts for filter installation. The required degree of ingress protection should be provided during filter installation. Operators must ensure UL-compliant connection for power that comply with instructions given in the data sheet. The mechanical housing of the 13.E4.T60-1001 filter corresponds to those of compatible Combivert drive units.
