Product Description
The 12.B4.C1D-3420 is a frequency inverter built by KEB Automation exclusively for the control, monitoring, and general operation of industrial asynchronous motors. The connection of any other load to this inverter is prohibited and can lead to irreversible damage to the unit. The inverter has a standard control type with a GTR7 braking resistor that helps it handle any excess energy generated by the asynchronous motor during deceleration. The housing of this inverter is built from a strong metallic material that is very resistant to rust and deterioration; the product itself is also classified under the IP20 protection category. Installation configuration and generation operation of this frequency inverter are very easy to carry out. However, this has to be done by well-trained engineers according to international standards.
The 12.B4.C1D-3420 frequency inverter is a three-phase device that can generate an output rated power of 3.3 kilovolts ampere and a maximum rated power output of 4 kilowatts. The output-rated current from this inverter is determined to be about 9.5 amperes, and the maximum short-time current is about 17 amperes. The maximum permissible main fuse that can be used with this inverter is about 20 amperes. The rated switching frequency for the inverter is 4 kilohertz; however, this frequency can reach a maximum level of about 8 kilohertz.
The 12.B4.C1D-3420 requires a rated voltage of between 400 to about 480 volts for operation; it can also be operated with three mains forms, which include the TT, TN, IT and Delta mains form. The main operating frequency of this product is between 50 and about 60 degree Celsius. The maximum permissible installation height for this inverter is about 1000 meters above sea level.
