Product Description
Danaher Motion is a world leader in the manufacture of products that make automation in factories a piece of cake. Among its bestselling products are drives. They are explicitly engineered to tackle tough automation tasks in any setting. The SS2000MD4-101 is one of those drives. It is a bipolar, two-phase, and adjustable speed PWM drive that utilizes hybrid power devices. It features a maximum speed of 3,000rpm, which is pretty much ideal for any task on the factory floor. SS2000MD4-101 comes in a compact size and features a sturdy all-aluminum mounting base for extra stability.
This Danaher Motion drive should be mounted on a flat surface. If mounted against a bulkhead, provide a thin coating of thermal compound between the mounting surface and the drive. Do not use too much of it as it may affect performance. You should leave a space of two inches around the side, top, and bottom of the SS2000MD4-101 drive. This is in a bid to provide ample air circulation. The temperature within the enclosure should be less than 70 degrees. If exceeded, you can use forced air cooling. It is recommended that you mount it in its own cabinet to avoid electrical noise.
Leave a space of three feet if mounted with other components. J2 and J1 connectors are provided for optimal communication and power supply. You should use shielded, twisted-pair cables to mitigate system shutdown. The SS2000MD4-101 Danaher Motion drive weighs 0.6 pounds, a minimum and maximum DC input of 24 VDC and 40 VDC respectively, and features a natural convection cooling system. It is compatible with superior M and KM motor series. Wake Industrial provides a one year warranty to ensure peaceful usage.
