Product Description
This XPL-230-40-R Servo Drive compact servo drive is designed for demanding applications, boasting a peak output current of 40 Adc (28.3 Arms, sinusoidal). For continuous operation, it delivers 20 Adc (14.1 Arms, sinusoidal). Powering this performance requires an input power of 100~240 Vac, ±10%, 1Ø or 3Ø, at 47~63 Hz. Measuring a mere 7.92 x 5.51 x 2.31 inches (201.2 x 139.9 x 58.7 mm) and weighing approximately 3.0 lb without a heatsink (3.1 lb with the XPL-HS heatsink), this drive is remarkably space-efficient. It is suitable for integration into tight spaces within industrial automation systems. Control power necessitates +20 to +32 Vdc, with a maximum of 500 mA. Digital control loops encompass current, velocity, and position, ensuring precise and responsive motor control through 100% digital loop control.
Connectivity is key, and this drive offers versatile options. Consider the inclusion of both CANopen and RS-232 interfaces for seamless communication with various industrial control systems. Furthermore, integration is simplified by the availability of two differential analog inputs with a ±10 Vdc range. Expanding output capabilities, there are six digital outputs, including programmable open-drain MOSFETs. An encoder power supply of +5 Vdc at 400 mA is available from +5V Out1 and Out2, facilitating direct encoder connection. This comprehensive suite of interfaces ensures adaptable integration into complex automation environments. This feature allows for flexible control and feedback mechanisms.
The robust design of the XPL-230-40-R is apparent in its ability to handle a wide input voltage range, contributing to its reliability in fluctuating power conditions. It's worth noting the drive's compact dimensions, allowing for installation in space-constrained applications. With this drive, complex motion control tasks can be tackled efficiently. Such tasks are made easier with its comprehensive features and compact form.
