The Junus series servo amplifier utilizes MOSFET H-bridge technology with a 20 kHz center weighted PWM carrier. This configuration minimizes switching losses and optimizes efficiency. Its PWM ripple frequency operates at 40 kHz to ensure smooth and precise signal output while maintaining low distortion. A ± 10 V DC analog torque and velocity reference with a 12 bit resolution provides precise and accurate control. It supports PWM frequency ranges from 1 kHz to 100 kHz with a minimum pulse width of 220 ns for digital operation. Its input versatility includes PWM inputs for torque and velocity reference and offering differential signal options between Ref (+) and Ref (-). The amplifier’s flash memory retains user configured parameters, simplifying commissioning for OEMs by enabling on-site axis configuration without additional adjustments. The Copley Controls JSP-090-20 servo amplifier achieves a 3 kHz current loop bandwidth which varies based on tuning and load inductance. High voltage (HV) compensation ensures that variations in HV levels do not impact bandwidth. Its current loop update rate is set at 20 kHz with a period of 50 microseconds while the velocity loop updates at 4 kHz. The input impedance of 66 kΩ accommodates various control systems for effective signal integration.
