Product Description
The R30-090-10 is a high performance DC powered analog current amplifier designed for precise torque control in DC brush or brushless motors. This standalone unit integrates seamlessly with external controllers and accepts a ± 10 Vdc input for versatile operation. It features solderless connectors for easy PC board mounting to ensure cost effective multi axis solution.
This Copley Controls Bantam M-Axis series amplifier delivers a peak current of 10 Adc and continuous current of 5 Adc to support demanding motor control needs. The output power includes a peak of 855 W and continuous operation at 427 W with an output resistance of 0.075 . Its robust design handles low inductance loads through a digital input for switching the current loop gain between high and low. It ensures reliable operation under varying conditions with an I2T limit adjustable from 0.5 to 5.0 Vdc. It features multiple analog inputs including settings for peak current and continuous current adjustments. The amplifier’s analog input provides peak and continuous current limit control adjustable between 10 % to 100 % of their respective rated currents.
The R30-090-10 DC powered analog current amplifier includes forward and reverse enable inputs for seamless limit switch integration. Its Amp Enable input works with active LO signals up to 24 Vdc that ensures compatibility with various configurations. The amplifier’s digital outputs provide status monitoring with Amp-OK indicating amplifier health and additional outputs activating regenerative circuits or motor brake control. The analog output offers current monitoring at ± 3.0 Vdc for ± peak current and a current loop command reference of the same voltage range. Its compact design, high adjustability and reliable performance make it a versatile choice for motor control systems and industrial automation systems.
