Product Description
The BPL-090-06 DC servo drive is developed by Copley Controls. The model offers high performance motor control for industrial automation applications. It supports versatile feedback systems and integrates advanced safety features. Its compact design and flexible configuration make it suitable for various operational requirements.
This BPL-090-06 DC servo drive features a wide array of I/O capabilities including six high speed digital inputs, four opto-isolated inputs, and three opto-isolated outputs to ensures seamless communication with external devices. It also includes a motor over temperature input for enhanced protection. The analog I/O includes a 12 bit reference input to provide accurate signal processing. The Safe Torque Off (STO) function is compliant with SIL 3, Category 3 and PL d safety standards that ensures high level safety in critical applications. The drive operates as a CANopen DS-402 node and supports multiple operational modes such as Profile Position-Velocity-Torque, Interpolated Position Mode (PVT), and Homing. Feedback from incremental and absolute encoders is supported with a multi mode encoder port configurable as input or output based on the setup.
The Accelnet series servo drive supports a transformer isolated DC power supply to accommodate both regulated and unregulated sources. The servo drive features an AuxHV input for “keep-alive” operations. This allows the main power stage to be powered down without losing communication or position data. Its isolated MOSFET brake output is programmable for motor brakes or other inductive loads with a flyback diode to the Brake 24 V input for safe operation. The non isolated inputs, programmable active levels, and isolated outputs provide versatile configuration options. These features collectively ensure optimized performance, safety and flexibility for a wide range of motion control applications.
