The BEL-090-06 DC servo drive is a reliable motion control device designed by Copley Controls. The model is ideal for precise automation and industrial applications. The Accelnet series servo drive features 11 digital inputs including opto-isolated and non-isolated options with programmable pull-up/down configurations for +5 VDC/ground. Inputs [IN1,2] have a Schmitt trigger and are compatible with 24 V DC. Inputs [IN3,4,5,6] support differential configurations with a 12 V DC maximum. Opto-isolated inputs [IN7~10] are bipolar with ± 15 – 30 V DC compatibility. The device includes a single analog input ([AIN1]) with ± 10 V DC, 5 k impedance and 12 bit resolution to ensure accurate signal processing. A dedicated [IN11] serves as a motor over temperature input rated up to 12 V DC and is programmable for other functions. The servo drive integrates advanced safe torque off (STO) functionality adhering to IEC safety standards with SIL 3 and Performance Level d certification. The STO operates through opto-isolated terminals with a response time of 2 ms that ensure maximum safety during operation.
This BEL-090-06 servo drive also offers four digital outputs: three opto-isolated SSR terminals and one MOSFET output. The SSR outputs are 24 V tolerant with a 300 mA capacity while the MOSFET output supports 1 A current sinking with flyback diodes for inductive loads. Rated impulse voltage exceeds 800 V for robust performance. It enables adaptability for multiple applications including motor brake control with programmable features. Its comprehensive filtering and pull-up/down resistors enhance reliability in signal processing. The servo drive excels in high performance industrial automation systems.
