Product Description
The BE2-090-20 DC servo drive offers high performance in automation systems including robotic arms, conveyors and precision tooling. The servo drive ensures precise performance, reliability and seamless integration into a variety of industrial automation applications.
This Accelnet series servo drive features two analog differential inputs with a range of ± 10 Vdc, a 5 k input impedance, and a 12bit resolution to enable precise signal control. Digital control is fully supported, with current, velocity and position loops controlled at 100 % digital fidelity. The sampling rate is 16 kHz (62.5 µs) for current loops and 4 kHz (250 µs) for velocity and position loops that ensures high responsiveness and accuracy. The DC servo drive bus voltage compensation maintains performance unaffected by voltage fluctuations and the minimum load inductance is 200 µH per line. Advanced protection mechanisms safeguard the drive including automatic shutdown for overvoltage conditions (+HV > 90 Vdc) and undervoltage conditions (+HV < +14 Vdc). It also includes drive shutdown when the heat plate exceeds 70 °C. These features minimize damage risks and ensure reliable operations in demanding environments.
The Copley Controls BE2-090-20 DC servo drive provides robust thermal management and protection to ensure operational safety in high demand applications. Drive state monitoring is simplified with two bi color LEDs. These LEDs indicate states such as latching faults, transient faults, STO circuit activity and operational status. The servo drive’s fault detection includes motor over temperature, short circuits, feedback errors and command input faults. Programmed protections of the servo drive extend to over voltage and under voltage scenarios. The DC servo drive supports both external and internal fault detection including motor phasing errors for improved system diagnostics.
