Product Description
The APM-090-06 DC servo is a high performance solution for controlling brushless and brush motors. It supports PVT control via the CANopen protocol. The model is designed with advanced FPGA technology. It reduces costs in multi axis CANopen systems while offering versatile motor control capabilities.
The < operates as a CANopen node using the CoE (CANopen over EtherCAT) protocol in compliance with DSP-402 standards for motion control devices. It accommodates multiple feedback options including incremental and absolute encoders to ensure compatibility with various motor systems. The drive features nine high speed programmable digital inputs, a dedicated low speed input for motor temperature monitoring, and additional high speed inputs for enhanced functionality. The drive's output is a three-phase Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) inverter, which is responsible for converting the direct current (DC) bus voltage referred to as +HV into three sinusoidal alternating current (AC) voltage waveforms. These waveforms are used to drive the motor's phase coils. When selecting the cables for the drive, they must be sized appropriately to handle the continuous current rating of the drive to ensure safe and reliable operation. Additionally, motor cabling should be designed to meet both functional and regulatory requirements.
The Accelnet series servo drive is powered by transformer isolated DC from regulated or unregulated power supplies with an AuxHV input enabling keep alive functionality. This ensures uninterrupted communication and position retention even when the power stage is down. The DC servo drive also supports the Switch & LED Interface (SLI) function that further expanding its versatility. Outputs include four high speed digital outputs and two open drain MOSFET outputs capable of driving loads up to 24 VDC.
