The ACJ-090-03 DC servo drive is designed for precision motion control in advanced industrial automation applications. This Copley Controls Accelnet series DC servo drive supports CANopen communication via its optically isolated CAN ports which ensure safe and reliable high speed data transfer. The CAN ports comply with the CAN V2.0b standard and follow the DSP-402 device profile for enhanced interoperability. Address selection can be configured through digital inputs or flash memory. It includes digital Hall sensors with U, V and W signal outputs to offer 120° electrical phase difference for precise motor commutation. The drive can handle speeds exceeding 10,000 RPM that is subject to factory consultation. Digital outputs are open drain MOSFETs with pull-up resistors to + 5 V DC and supports up to 1 Adc per output and 2 Adc in total. External components like fly-back diodes are required when controlling inductive loads. Programmable digital outputs can be tailored for functions such as fault indication or motor braking. Power is supplied via transformer isolated unregulated DC sources to ensure safety and operational stability.
