Combination of the controller with S20 I/O modules provides a complete and scalable industrial control system. The S20 I/O features a very short module reaction time of 1 microsecond per module for real-time processing of intelligent sensors and measuring systems. Connection for the S20 I/O can be via the control bus base module XA-BS01 or XA-BS02. A maximum of three extension bus modules can be connected to the controller. Data transmission rate of the S20 bus is 100 Mbps. A maximum of 63 I/O modules can be connected.
