Product Description
The VT1600S3X is a servo amplifier card form the VT 1600 series offered to the public by Rexroth, Indramat, Bosch. This amplifier serves the main purpose of providing a controlled amount of voltage and current to the motor based on the commands received from the motion controller. This task is made possible by way of a voltage amplifier, also known as a current transconductance. While this amplifier has its many notable benefits there may be drawbacks when it is used for the wrong applications and the best way to avoid these is to use the servo amplifier card only in the applications recommended for its use.
The VT1600S3X servo amplifier card features a voltage regulator which has been factory assigned and will provide a current of less than 200mA. This special type of electronic amplifier can be used in a number of servomechanisms to monitor the servomechanism’s feedback signal to provide continuous adjustments to ensure there is no deviation from the power machine’s expected behavior. The amplifier will control the speed, torque, and position of the motor.
This particular unit from Rexroth, Bosch, Indramat is from the VT 1600 3X series with a factory assigned faceplate and factory assigned voltage regulator as well. The internal control voltage for this servo amplifier card is between 14V and 10V + or – and also to note is the output current, which ranges from + or – 60 mA, to + or – 100 mA. The ambient temperature range suitable for normal operation of the unit is between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius or 34 and 122 degrees Fahrenheit. The unit weight approximately 0.33 lbs. making it a very lightweight and unobtrusive device.
