Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s VT 1600 electronic amplifier cards are lightweight and highly versatile control units by Bosch Rexroth. They are suited for driving servo valves without inductive feedback (LVDT) and can be tailored to suit application-specific purposes. This is because they can be modified for different valve types and applications.
The VT1600S31 is a model of Bosch Rexroth’s VT 1600 electronic amplifier cards. Like others in the series, it is a compact control unit in the Euro card format for printed circuit boards. Hence, it is 100mm wide and 160mm long according to the DIN 41 494 standard. It also weighs 0.15kg and is designed for installation in Euro card magazines and card holders. Its three internal potentiometers are used to rapidly adjust its PID values via the faceplate. The amplifier also features a sensitive ammeter on this faceplate to provide precise information on the current to the valve. Its internal control voltage range is between 0V and ±10V, while its current requirement is 200mA.
A voltage stabilizer is present in the VT1600S31 to ensure that clean voltage is supplied to guarantee its safe and stable functioning. With its integrated PID (proportional, integrator, derivative) control circuit, precise position control is assured. This is possible because the control circuit allows tuning. The PI, PD, or PID controls can also be combined for any circuit, hence the flexibility of the amplifier. Some of the servo valves that are compatible with this model include the 4WS2EM, 4WS2EB, 3DS2EH, and 4DS1EO valves and the A2V..HS pump with potentiometer feedback. Its operation requires an ambient temperature between 0oC and 50°C, while its maximum permissible ambient temperature for storage is 70°C.
