Product Description
Industrial hydraulics is one aspect of engineering where Bosch Rexroth thrives. The VT 1600 electronic amplifier cards are compact control units by the company built for driving servo valves without inductive feedback (LVDT). These devices are characterized by their versatility as they can be modified to suit different valve types, applications, and power supply requirements.
The VT1600-S-31 is one of the compact electronic amplifier cards in the VT 1600 series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It features an ammeter mounted on its face plate, allowing users to see the current to the valve in real-time. The amplifier also comes with a voltage stabilizer that provides clean voltage for its consistent and stable performance. When voltage regulators are installed, operating this model requires a supply voltage between ±22V and ±28V. It also has a current requirement of less than 200mA and a coil resistance of 2000 Ohms. Its internal control voltage range is 0V to ±10V.
Valves that can be operated with the VT1600-S-31 include those in the 4WS2EB, 4WS2EM, 3DS2EH, and 4DS1EO series. It is designed as a Euro card printed circuit board, which is 100mm wide and 160mm long in line with DIN 41 494. The plug connector for the amplifier is a 32-pole type per DIN 41612, Form D. Thanks to the additional control input for VE 102 and UK 2 system cards, it is suitable for control functions beyond the regular PID closed loop applications. It also comes with three internal potentiometers, which can be accessed through the face plate for adjusting the PID values. The 0.15kg VT 1600 electronic amplifier card should be operated at an ambient temperature range of 0oC to 50°C.
