Product Description
Building futuristic hydraulic systems requires innovation and the adoption of advanced technologies. Bosch Rexroth is one engineering company that does this excellently, as seen in its numerous high-quality products. The company is the manufacturer of the versatile VT 1600 electronic amplifier cards, which can be modified to suit different valve types and applications.
The VT1600-S-20 is a model of the electronic amplifier cards in the VT 1600 series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Like other units in this series, it is used to drive servo valves without inductive feedback (LVDT). It is best suited for closed-loop applications and is ideal for valves in the 4WS2EM, 4WS2EB, 3DS2EH, and 4DS1EO series. This compact model weighs 0.15kg and is operated with a regulated supply voltage of ±15V without voltage regulators. Its current requirement is less than 200mA, while its internal control or signal voltage rating is between 0 and ±10V. When not in use, it should be stored at a maximum ambient temperature of 70°C.
An ammeter is mounted on the faceplate of the VT1600-S-20 for a real-time view of the current to the valve. The electronic amplifier card also features an integrated PID (proportional, integrator, derivative) control circuit used to ensure optimum position control. It also displays high flexibility since the PI, PD, or PID controls can be combined for any circuit. This VT 1600 model is built as a printed circuit board in line with the Euro card format; hence, it is 100mm wide and 160mm long per DIN 41 494. It should be installed in Euro card magazines and card holders. Its plug connector is a 32-pole type per DIN 41612, Form D.
