The Bosch VT-1600S3X-1 is a VT-1600 series servo amplifier. It comes in Euro card format. VT-1600 series amplifiers are used for the control of servo valves without LVDT feedback. The amplifiers are typically deployed in closed loop applications. VT-1600 amplifier features include a voltage stabilizer, three internal potentiometers, integrated PID control circuit, faceplate mounted ammeter, and an additional control input. The VT-1600S3X-1 amplifier has a 32-pin plug for external connections. The amplifier installs in Euro magazines and card holders. The amplifier includes a ±15 Volt voltage regulator that requires ±24 Volts DC power supply. The servo amplifier draws less than 200 milliamps current. The internal control voltage range is from 0 to ±10 Volts DC. The output current range is ±60 milliamps. The typical dither current is 240 Hertz per 3 milliamps.

Dimensions of the VT-1600S3X-1 card are 100 x 160 millimeters. The front plate dimensions are5 x 128 millimeters. Bosch has designed the amplifier for 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit ambient temperature. Unused VT-1600 series amplifiers should be kept in storage where the ambient temperature is between -4 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit. The amplifier weighs approximately 0.33 pounds or 0.15 kilograms. Technical personnel working with the amplifier must tur off power before connecting or disconnecting it.  Any measurements made on the VT-1600S3X-1 must be made with a meter that has high input impedance, preferable greater than 100 kiloohms. The separation between the amplifier and any radio transmitters must be at least 1 meter. The VT-1600S3X-1 and all associated equipment and accessories must only be handled by trained personnel.
