The VT 16005-2X-A is a servo amplifier. It features a 32-pin plug for external connection. The amplifier module comes in Euro card format. Therefore operators can mount it on a card holder or in a Euro magazine. To prevent damage, the amplifier must be powered off before it is connected or disconnected. The amplifier converts an input signal to a proportional output. The output current is fed to a torque motor, which controls the pressure balance on the connected pilot valve. VT1600 amplifiers without voltage regulators require ±15 Volts DC regulated supply. Each amplifier draws less than 200 milliamps during operation.
