Product Description
The VT-VSPA1-1-D10 Valve Amplifier features a ramp generator and a clocked power output edge. The Rexroth Bosch Group unit helps in detecting cable breaks in the solenoid conductor and protecting it against short circuits at the same time. The amplifier also supports an additional non-isolated command value input in 0 to 9V range. The unit is mounted on a Euro-card of size 100 x 160mm. It supports connectivity through a D-design male 32-pole multipoint connector.
The ramp generator of the Valve Amplifier supports separate adjustments for a downward and upward direction. The minimum ramp time of 30ms can be done for either direction with the help of external ramp up/down off contacts. The output signal of the ramp generator is generated from a stepped input signal. This signal is then forwarded as the current command value to a summing amplifier. The command value has a range of 0 to 6V. The H2 LED on the front plate is illuminated along with the display of a Ready-for-Operation message when there is no overload of the output stage. The LED turns off if the amplifier detects a short circuit.
The accessory is best recommended for pilot and direct operated proportional pressure valves that feature only one solenoid for the actuating element. The unit has 50VA maximum power consumption. At the output stage, the solenoid has 19.5 Ohms resistance for 800mA maximum current rating or 5.4 Ohms resistance for 1,600mA maximum current rating depending on the DIL switch and potentiometer settings. Based on the settings of the switches, the output stage has either 100Hz, 200Hz, 300Hz or 370Hz clock frequency with a +/-10% in each case. The Valve Amplifier may not work if the solenoid, external potentiometer, and/or differential input is not connected properly. We sell the amplifier with a one-year warranty period.
