Product Description
The VT-VSPA1-1-C10 is a Valve Amplifier from the well-known Rexroth Bosch Group. The Amplifier features a differential input that can serve as either a current input or a voltage input. The differential input is supplied at the second command value input. The unit offers reverse polarity protection for the voltage supply. It also renders the detection of cable breaks for input currents in 4mA to 20mA range. The accessory is compatible with Type VT 3002-1-2X/32D single cardholder that does not support a power supply unit.
The Valve Amplifier features a command value voltage that is specified at the first command value input. This specification is done either directly or using an external potentiometer with the regulated +9V voltage. The differential input has a default value of 0 to 10V. However, this can be set to 0mA to 20mA or 4mA to 20mA using DIL switches. When the command value voltage is disconnected, both signal lines must be separated from the input at the same time. The command value can be increased using the potentiometer by rotating its control knob in the clockwise direction.
The unit displays a Ready-for-Operation output signal message along with an LED display on its front plate when there is no short circuit or cable break of the solenoid conductor. The amplifier has +24VDC operating voltage and a 2.5A slow-blow fuse. The solenoid conductors and command value lines must always be shielded. The Valve Amplifier has two separate measuring sockets for the actual value and the internal command value. If the unit is not working, check to see if it is receiving the operating voltage correctly. Another reason could be that the fuse on the card is faulty. We offer the Amplifier with a warranty period of one year and can ship it to any part of the world.
