Product Description
The VT-VSPA1-1-11B Valve Amplifier has a clocked power output stage. The Amplifier is capable of detecting cable breaks for input current in 4 to 20mA range and solenoid conductors. The Rexroth Bosch Group’sunit has 50mA or 100mA pilot current with 800mA or 1600mA maximum current based on the R130 potentiometer and S17 DIL switch settings. The unit also has different clock frequencies of 100Hz, 200Hz, 300Hz or 370Hz depending on how the S25 to S27 DIL switches are set. The differential input can function as current input with 4 to 20mA or 0 to 20mA rating.
The 11 components series Amplifier displays a Ready-for-Operation message along with an LED display. The ramp generator uses a stepped input signal to produce a ramp-shaped output signal. The time constant of the ramp signal can be adjusted both upwards and downwards by using two potentiometers. The switches S21 and S22 do not affect the amplifier and there is no need to operate the ZWpotentiometer. The front plate has 1 TE width on the soldering side and 3 TE width on the component side. The Valve Amplifier weighs 0.1kg.
Before operating the Amplifier, the setting of the DIL switches on the PCB must be checked to ensure that they perform the expected functions. The VT-VSPA1 series unit has 5 seconds maximum ramp time and +/-9V +/-1% regulated voltage. If the solenoid conductor has a cable break or short circuit, the H2 LED will start flashing and the Ready-for-Operation output will start clocking when the command value is more than 2%. The Valve Amplifier is compatible with Type VT 3002-1-2X/3D single cardholders without a power supply unit. It can be used for controlling both pilot and direct operated pressure valves that have only one solenoid as the actuating element.
