Product Description
Industrial hydraulics is one of the aspects of engineering where Bosch Rexroth thrives effortlessly. This is because the company is committed to developing the most efficient products suitable for numerous applications. Its VT-VPCD digital amplifier cards are compact electrical components with oscilloscope function and mooring capability, among other things.
The VT-VPCD-1-1X/V0/1-0-1 is one of the digital controller amplifier cards created for operating axial piston pumps of type A4VS with HS4 control by Bosch Rexroth. It specifically implements the electrical functions required for the HS4 control, which is used for the electrohydraulic closed-loop control of swivel angle and pressure. The HS4 control is also for limiting the power of variable displacement axial piston pumps. This VT-VPCD model is a basic component without bus interfacing, but it is equipped with a clocked and current-regulated valve output stage. It also has the Enable input and collective fault functions with digital inputs for calling pre-set parameters.
Operating the VT-VPCD-1-1X/V0/1-0-1 requires a nominal voltage of 24V with a tolerance between +40% and -10%. The digital amplifier is built as a double-sided printed circuit board in the Euro-card format with 100mm width and 160mm length. It weighs 0.2kg and is equipped with the RS232 serial interface with a 9-pin D-sub socket. Its oscillator frequency is approximately 5 kHz, while the nominal resistance of its solenoid at 20°C is 2 Ohms. Bosch Rexroth’s BODAC PC program can be used to parameterize the digital amplifier and perform several other functions. These include selecting the pump size, activating or deactivating the leakage compensation, and configuring switching outputs. Its supported ambient temperature for operation is between 0oC and 50°C.
