Product Description
As seen in its portfolio of highly efficient products, industrial hydraulics is one branch of engineering where Bosch Rexroth thrives. One of these products is the VT-VPCD digital controller amplifier, an electrical component used to achieve the electrical functions required for HS4 control.
The VT-VPCD-1-16/V0/1-0-1 is a model of the Bosch Rexroth digital controller amplifiers built in the Euro-card format. It is a double-sided printed circuit board of 100mm width and 160mm length. Its features include ramp times for swivel angle and pressure command values and digital inputs for calling pre-set parameters. The operating voltage for its operation is 24 VDC with a tolerance between +40% and –10%. Its oscillator frequency is approximately 5kHz, while the nominal resistance of its solenoid at 20°C is 2 Ohms. The ideal connector for this amplifier’s electrical connections is a 64-pin male edge connector based on the DIN 41 612, form G.
Parameterizing and configuring the VT-VPCD-1-16/V0/1-0-1 is done with the smart BODAC software tool for PC. The software is a freely downloadable tool that works with the RS 232 9-pin D-sub socket in front of the amplifier to carry out several functions. These include the configuration of switching outputs, the selection of the pump size, and the activation or deactivation of leakage compensation and sequence control. There are two freely configurable measuring sockets on this model that are used to signal process signals. They can be configured using the BODAC software or the display unit on the digital controller amplifier. This display unit has four keys used to carry out various configuration procedures and access the amplifier’s functions via its menu structure.
