Product Description
HS4 control is a form of closed-loop control designed by Bosch Rexroth for the electrohydraulic control of swivel angle and pressure and for limiting the power of variable displacement axial piston pumps. One of the components of the control system with this HS4 control is the VT-VPCD amplifier card.
The VT-VPCD-1-15/V0/1-P-1 is a model of the digital control amplifiers in the VT-VPCD family by Bosch Rexroth. It has two freely configurable measuring sockets in front, which indicate process signals, and an RS232 serial interface. This serial interface is the medium through which the BODAC software program is used to parameterize the digital control amplifier. Some of the functions that can be achieved with this software program include the activation or deactivation of the leakage compensation feature and sequence control, pump size selection and the configuration of switching outputs. The control amplifier is operated with a 24 VDC voltage and has a maximum current consumption rating of 2A. Its scanning rate is 2ms, while the nominal resistance of its solenoid at 20°C is 2 Ohms.
LEDs indicate the operating status of the VT-VPCD-1-15/V0/1-P-1 and are valuable tools for fault identification. There is also a display unit in front of the amplifier that aids fault identification and resolution. Additionally, it can be used to parameterize it and navigate its functions. Like other models, this amplifier is built as a double-sided printed circuit board in the Euro-card format; hence, it is 100mm wide and 160mm long. It has digital inputs for calling pre-set parameters and ramp times for swivel angle and pressure command values. It also has a clocked, current-regulated output stage and mooring capability.
