Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s strengths in the engineering industry are the enhanced functionality of its products. This applies to equipment used across various industries, including robotics, drive and motion control, and industrial hydraulics. It is the designer of the VT-VPCD digital controller amplifiers.
The VT-VPCD-1-14/V100/1-0-1 is a model of Bosch Rexroth’s digital controller amplifier cards suited by design for performing the electrical functions required for the HS4 control. This HS4 control is for the electrohydraulic control of swivel angle and pressure and power limitation of type A4VS axial piston pumps. The digital controller amplifier is available as a 100mm wide and 160mm long double-sided printed circuit board in the Euro-card format. It has an Enable input setting that activates the closed-loop control and a collective fault output. Faults such as cable break in actual swivel angle value acquisition, short-circuit, and system deviation are easily identified by the amplifier. These faults are indicated by its LEDs and shown on its display for users to rectify. The display is also useful in the device’s parameterization and the configuration of its two measuring sockets.
Ramp times for the swivel angle and pressure command values are available with the VT-VPCD-1-14/V100/1-0-1. Its operation is done with a supply voltage of 24 VDC, and its maximum current consumption rating is 2A. It also has an RS232 serial interface with a 9-pin D-sub socket and uses a 64-pin male connector based on the DIN 41 612, form G, for electrical connections. Bosch Rexroth’s free BODAC software tool for PC is one option for configuring the digital controller amplifier. The software tool works with the RS232 serial interface to perform its numerous functions.
