Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is a global brand recognized in the engineering field for its innovative contribution and creation of state-of-the-art products. These products are found in drive and motion control, pneumatics, industrial and mobile hydraulics, and service automation. One of these is the VT-VPCD digital controller amplifier.
The VT-VPCD-1-12-V0/1-0-1 is one of the models of the Bosch Rexroth digital controller amplifiers in the VT-VPCD series. Like others in this group of components, it has digital inputs for calling pre-set parameters and mooring capability. It has a nominal operating voltage requirement of 24 VDC with a tolerance between +40% and –10%. Its maximum current consumption rating is 2A, while its scanning time is 2ms. With the RS232 9-pin D-sub socket on its front panel as a serial interface, it can be parameterized with the BODAC software tool for PC. This BODAC program is obtained for free from Bosch Rexroth’s online platform and is used to detect faults, select the pump size and configure the switching outputs.
Faults such as cable break, short-circuit, and system deviation can be detected in the VT-VPCD-1-12-V0/1-0-1. It has a display unit in front where these faults are displayed with guidelines to aid users in resolving them. The display unit also features four keys that are used to parameterize the digital amplifier. This VT-VPCD’s central unit is a microcontroller used to control the entire sequence and realize the controller’s functions. Its designated connector is a 64-pin male edge connector based on the DIN 41 612, form G. Additionally, it has two freely configurable measuring sockets for indicating process signals. During its use, the ambient temperature must be maintained between 0°C to 50°C.
