Product Description
Creating future-proof equipment that improve efficiency requires the use of innovative technology. Bosch Rexroth recognizes this and constantly adopts such futuristic measures in the development of its numerous products. These products cut across various industries, including hydraulics, robotics, linear motion technology, and gear technology. Its VT-MSPA valve amplifiers are compact and modular analog amplifiers that are majorly used in industrial hydraulics to control proportional valves.
The VT-MSPA2-21-F5-000-000 is a valve amplifier used to control proportional valves without electric position feedback designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is built for proportional valves with two solenoids and has separately adjustable up and down ramp generators. Its installation is done by mounting on top hat rails while its electrical connection is established via three tension spring plug-in connectors. The valve amplifier also has a zero-point setting and clocked power output stage. Its output stages are shortcircuit-proof, and its fault recognition feature monitors errors like cable break and over-current of the output stage.
Operating the VT-MSPA2-21-F5-000-000 must be done at a nominal supply voltage of 24 VDC with a tolerance between +40% and -20%. It weighs 0.14kg and has a startup time of less than one second. Based on the EN 60529 standard, this analog valve amplifier is a product of protection category IP 20. This means that solid extrinsic objects, such as conductive dust are not admissible. However, contact with hydraulic fluids should be avoided. The component’s housing is composed of glass-fiber reinforced polyamide plastic and is resistant to UV exposure for short durations. During its use, the ambient temperature should be kept at a maximum of 60oC, while its supported maximum installation height is 2000m.
