Product Description
The Bosch VT-MSPA1-50-1X-V0 is the basic version for an analog amplifier designed for control of proportional valves. The analog has a modular design. It is specifically designed for control of a proportional solenoid rated at 2.5 Amps. The amplifier module mounts onto a top hat rail according to EN 60715. The electrical connection is by means of screw terminals. The module is operated using 24 Volt DC. The amplifier supports numerous features. The clock pulse generator on the amplifier generates the clock frequency and feeds it to the output stage. The ramp generator limits the gradient of the control variable. Due to the characteristic curve generator connected downstream, the ramp time does not extend or shorten. The internal command value signal is generated by the sum of the external command value signal applied to differential input and the zero point offset (zero point potentiometer).
The current output stage generates the pulsed solenoid current for the proportional valve. The solenoid current is 2.5 A. The output stage output is short-circuit-proof. The solenoid cables are monitored for cable breaks and short-circuits, and the output stage for overcurrent. In the case of an error, the green LED flashes. Connections on the VT-MSPA1-50-1X-V0 are made via 6 threaded terminals. The VT-MSPA1-50-1X-V0 amplifier weighs approximately 130 grams and measures 25 x 79 x 85.5 millimeters. Protection rating of the module is IP20 and therefore it cannot be used outdoors unless mounted inside a cabinet. Optimal amplifier operation requires 0 to 50 degrees Celsius ambient temperature. Any unused amplifiers need to be kept in storage where they are protected from corrosive elements. The temperature range for amplifier storage is -20 to 70 degrees Celsius.
