Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is a reliable designer and manufacturer of engineering solutions that can be used across different industries. Its highly efficient products include equipment used in gear technology, linear motion technology, electric drives and controls, industrial hydraulics, and mobile hydraulics and electronics. The VT-MSPA valve amplifiers are electronic components by the company used in industrial hydraulics. They are compact units with valve optimization via push buttons.
The VT-MSPA2-20-F5-000-000 is a model of the valve amplifiers designed for controlling proportional valves without electric position feedback by Bosch Rexroth. It is an analog amplifier with a modular build that supports installation on hat rails. This model is suited for proportional valves with two solenoids and permits the adjustment of valve parameters. Its operation requires a nominal operating voltage of 24 VDC with an allowance between +40% and -20%. According to EN 60529, the Ingress Protection rating of the amplifier is IP 20, indicating that it cannot be damaged by the penetration of solid extrinsic objects over 12mm. It also has a maximum power consumption rating of 48W and maximum current consumption of 2A.
Several protective features have been built into the VT-MSPA2-20-F5-000-000 to enhance its operational reliability. One of these is a making current limiter in its internal power supply unit and its integrated inverse-polarity protection feature. The 0.14kg valve amplifier is enclosed in a housing composed of glass-fiber reinforced polyamide plastic. This housing is resistant to ultraviolet rays, provided that exposure is not for extended periods. Electrical connections to the VT-MSPA model is via detachable 12 spring-type terminals. It should be operated at an ambient temperature between 0oC and 60oC and installed at a maximum height of 2000m.
