VT-HNC100-2-30/P-1-00/000 is a programmable NC control. It is designed and produced by Bosch Rexroth. It is part of the VT-HNC100 series. The control can control two controller axes. It is well suited to closed loop control applications that include presses, machine tools, transfer systems and plastics processing machines. In addition to an RS-232 serial interface, the NC control features an optional Profibus connection for communication with higher level control. It is also equipped with an incremental/SSI position transducer. Synchronization is available as an option. However, this control does not support synchronization. PC-based software WIN-PED 6 and WIN-PED 7 are available for NC control configuration and programming. System requirements for these software include minimum 512 MB RAM, 100 MB hard disk space, RS-232 interface for serial link and Windows operating system. These configuration software are not part of the scope of delivery. They are available for free download from the Bosch Rexroth website, and can be ordered on CD-ROM. Operating voltage range for the VT-HNC100-2-30/P-1-00/000 NC control is 18 to 30 Volts DC. Current consumption of the unit is 2 Amps at 24 Volts DC. The control is based on a 32-bit PowerPC processor. It is equipped with a RS-232 interface for communication with the computer running WIN-PED software. The admissible operating temperature is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. Storage temperature recommended by Bosch is -20 to 70 degrees Celsius.
