The VT-HNC100-2-2X/W-16-0-0 is a model of the HNC100, Component 2X digital axis control units designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is equipped with 16 digital inputs and outputs each and a 16/32 Bit MC68376 processor chip for effective data manipulation. Its housing design allows the rack installation kind of mounting, and it works with the incremental and absolute (SSI) measuring systems. This device’s operation requires a nominal operating voltage between 18V DC and 36V DC, while its power consumption rating is 8W. It is built for two hydraulic axes and weighs 1.2kg. There are several monitoring functions in this HNC model to protect it from harmful conditions. These include dynamic following error monitoring, assessment of range limits for electronic limit switches, and cable break monitoring for incremental and SSI encoders.
