The VT-HNC100-1-2X/W-24-0-C/INK2 is a Bosch Rexroth digital axis control unit in the HNC100 series. It is operated at a nominal voltage between 18V DC and 36V DC and has a 16/32 Bit MC68376 microcontroller chip as its processor. The programmable NC control is built for applications with closed-loop controlled axis and supports the control of hydraulic and electric drives. It displays a high operational reliability thanks to its climatic tolerance, immunity to interference, and mechanical resistance to shock and vibration. Hence, the use of the device in harsh industrial environments will not damage it. Additionally, it is designed for one hydraulic axis and has 24 digital inputs and outputs each. Its controller functions cover position control, velocity control, and pressure/force control.

There is no bus interface on the VT-HNC100-1-2X/W-24-0-C/INK2. However, rapid fault identification and rectification are enabled in the control device thanks to the WIN-PED 5 software tool for PC by Bosch Rexroth. This PC program assists with configuration tasks with convenient dialog functions for setting the machine data online or offline. It is user-friendly and can be downloaded for free from the manufacturer’s online platforms. A wide range of monitoring functions is also enabled in the VT-HNC100-1-2X/W-24-0-C/INK2, such as dynamic following error monitoring. Its RS232 serial interface aids in the transfer of application-specific data sets, which are generated on a PC for its optimum operation.
