Product Description
Functionality and efficiency are vital characteristics of Bosch Rexroth’s drive and motion control products. These features are also seen in the company’s HNC100 digital axis controls built for hydraulic and electronic systems. They are commonly used in presses and transfer lines.
The VT-HNC100-1-2X/W-24-0-0/INK2 is one of the compact digital axis control units for one hydraulic axis designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It features 24 digital inputs and outputs each and a 16/32 Bit MC68376 microcontroller chip, which has impressive data manipulation capabilities. This model of the HNC100, Component 2x series, is a programmable NC control suitable for applications with closed-loop controlled axis and can be used to control hydraulic and electric drives. To achieve this, it requires a nominal operating voltage between 18V DC and 36V DC. Its power consumption rating is 8W, but connected sensors/actuators will lead to more power consumption. It can be safely used under harsh industrial conditions thanks to its immunity to interference and mechanical resistance to shock and vibration.
Using the WIN-PED 5 tool for PC, the VT-HNC100-1-2X/W-24-0-0/INK2 can be programmed and set for operation. This is based on the creation of application-specific data sets, which are generated on a PC and sent via its RS232 serial interface to the HNC100. The software tool also plays a crucial role in detecting and rectifying faults. It is available for free download from Bosch Rexroth’s online platforms. This HNC100 model has a housing design that supports wall mounting. It does not have a bus interface but can offer different freely configurable controller variants. These include position-dependent braking, alternating control (position/pressure), and pressure/force control. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
