VT-HNC100-1-22/W-24-0-0 is a programmable NC control. It is a product of Bosch Rexroth. The NC control is designed for closed-loop control applications. Applications of HNC100 controls include presses, transfer lines, special machines, machine tools and rail-bound vehicles. With reference to interference immunity, mechanical resistance to vibration and shock, and ingress protection, the NC control is designed for use in harsh industrial environments. It complies with EC Directives. The control supports programming with PC-based software. Bosch has developed the WIN-PED software for NC control programming. This software runs on a computer that communicates with the NC control over a serial communication link. The NC control features an integrated RS-232 interface for this serial link. Baud rate supported by this interface is 9.6 kbaud. For position control, the control supports PDT1- controller, linear gain characteristic, direction dependent adjustment for gain, inflected characteristic curve, gain alteration, fine positioning, residual voltage, zero-point error compensation, state feedback, command value feedforward, position-dependent braking, and synchronisation control. Monitoring function supported by the unit include dynamic following for error monitoring, traversing range limit via electronic limit switch, cable break monitoring for incremental/SSI encoder, and cable break monitoring for sensors (4 to 20 mA output).
