The VT-HNC100-1-1X/133/DGM201 is a model of the programmable NC control units for closed-loop controlled axes designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It supports different operating modes, including direct valve control, drive-controlled position control, drive-controlled positioning, and positioning block mode. The required voltage for its operation is 24V DC, and it has a booting time of less than 15s, that is between switch-on and the activation of the position control system. It is equipped with a standard RS232 interface and a slot for an SD memory card where vital information like the PLC program and other optional data are stored. This NC control unit can also be safely used in harsh environments.
According to EN 60529, the protection class of the VT-HNC100-1-1X/133/DGM201 is IP 20. This means that it cannot be damaged by the entry of solid extrinsic objects with diameters of 12mm or more. Thanks to its monitoring functions, potentially harmful conditions such as undervoltage, over-current of 24V sensor voltage and digital outputs, and short-circuit monitoring for analog/digital outputs can be prevented. Additionally, communication errors and cable breaks for analog sensor inputs can be detected. Using the user-friendly IndraWorks engineering tool by Bosch Rexroth, the digital axis control unit can be parameterized and commissioned. Data administration and fault diagnosis are also simplified with this tool. The maximum ambient temperature for the device’s operation is 60°C.
