The Bosch Rexroth VT-HNC100-1-1X/133/DGM101 is a digital axis control from the HNC100 series of products. It is a programmable device designed for a closed-loop controlled axis. Operation of the VT-HNC100-1-1X/133/DGM101 depends on data sets. The combination of user program and data sets is called a project. Operators create the data sets on computer software (WIN-PED) and then transfer the data sets to the NC control. The task to be performed by the NC control are first defined and stored in a sequence chart. The functions of the sequence chart are implemented in the form of NC commands. The machine data and parameters of NC data are then defined. The data is then transferred to the NC control. Finally the settings and program sequences are optimized on the machine. The VT-HNC100-1-1X/133/DGM101 features a built-in RS-232 interface for serial communication.

The serial interface is capable of data transfer at up to 9.6 kilobaud. The VT-HNC100-1-1X/133/DGM101 requires DC input at 18 to 36 Volts. The power supply connection should be as short as possible.
